Should I size up to wear this over a jacket, hydration pack, or backpack? - The Tracer2 chest belt is adjustable and elastic so it fits over seasonal clothing and small accessories like hydration packs. You should order your regular size even if you plan to wear layers. Is this only for others to see you? How well does it light the path in front of you? - It can be seen up to 1/4 mile away! It is meant to be unobtrusive to your vision. Even when wearing it in flashing mode, you may not notice the lights. For path lighting, we suggest the Tracer ChestLamp that securely attaches to the buckle. How long does the charge last? - The Tracer2 lasts up to 20 hours depending on the color mode.
